The ESP32 Camera Development Board (ESP32-CAM) is a complete, compact platform designed to bring AI and IoT vision applications to life. At its heart is the powerful ESP32 SoC, which provides integrated WiFi and Bluetooth BLE connectivity, allowing the board to act as a wireless video server, a surveillance camera, or a face detection/recognition module.

This module comes pre-integrated with the widely used OV2640 camera module, supporting 2 MP (1600x1200) resolution images and video streams in formats like JPEG and BMP. The generous 4 MB PSRAM is essential for efficiently buffering high-resolution images, preventing system crashes during streaming. With a MicroSD card slot for local storage and a built-in Flash LED for illumination, the ESP32-CAM is an unmatched, low-cost solution for embedded vision systems. Programming is done via the UART interface using an external USB-to-TTL converter (not included).
