The TP4056 Battery Charging/Protection Module is the most popular, cost-effective, and complete solution for charging single 3.7V Lithium-Ion or Lithium-Polymer cells, particularly the common 18650 type. It is based on the highly successful TP4056 linear charger IC combined with the DW01A battery protection IC and FS8205A dual $\text{MOSFET}$s (on protection-enabled variants), offering both charging and crucial safety features.\\ (Constant Current/Constant Voltage)** charging protocol, fixing the final float voltage at 4.2V. The default 1A charging current is ideal for most cells and can be customized by swapping the small Rprog resistor on the board. The integrated protection circuit safeguards the battery against over-discharge (cutting power when voltage drops below 2.5V) and over-current (tripping at 3A load), extending battery life and ensuring safe operation for portable electronics, power banks, and DIY projects.
