    The TP5000 Lithium Battery Charger Module is a compact, high-efficiency power management solution designed for charging single-cell lithium batteries. Built around the advanced TP5000 step-down switching charger IC, this module supports both standard Li-Ion / Li-Po (4.2V) cells and LiFePO4 (3.6V) batteries, making it highly versatile for modern battery-powered applications.

    Unlike linear chargers, the TP5000 uses a high-frequency 800 kHz buck switching topology, delivering excellent efficiency with minimal heat generation—even at higher charge currents. The default charging current is set to 1A, which can be adjusted up to 2A by changing the external sense resistor. The charging voltage can be selected between 4.2V and 3.6V using onboard solder pads or the CS pin.
