USB 5V Step-Up Booster – Lithium Battery Charging & Protection Module (DIY Power Bank)
This compact and efficient module is the perfect core component for building a DIY Power Bank or portable 5V power supply. It combines battery charging, voltage boosting, and protection circuitry into a single board designed for use with one 3.7V Lithium-Ion or Lithium-Polymer battery such as an 18650 cell.
During charging, the module accepts a standard 5V input via the Micro-USB port and safely charges the battery using a CC/CV (Constant Current / Constant Voltage) algorithm, terminating precisely at 4.2V. During discharge, the integrated step-up (boost) converter efficiently raises the battery voltage (2.5V–4.2V) to a stable 5V USB output, capable of delivering up to 1A–1.2A with efficiency exceeding 85%.
