The sensor operates on an optical principle, using an infrared light-emitting diode (LED) and a photodetector. As light passes through the liquid, suspended particles scatter the light. The measured light intensity is then converted into a corresponding electrical signal by the control module. This signal provides both an Analog Voltage Output for precise measurement (often up to 1000 NTU/4.5V) and a configurable Digital Output which triggers a high/low signal when turbidity exceeds a set threshold (adjustable via an onboard potentiometer).
